INFORMATION FOR YACHTS

Dive Moorings: Moorings at dive sites are marked with yellow spars and are restricted to boats less than 38 ft (11.5m.) LOA. There are, however, several moorings that may be safely used by larger boats. Call the Marine Park at 717-8444 to get permission. Use your dinghy to dive whenever possible (up to 3 dinghies may use a single mooring). Use of dive site moorings is strictly limited to 2 hours. Yachts should strive to use dive moorings before 8AM, from 12-2PM and after 4PM to avoid conflict with commercial dive operators.
Dinghy tie-up: Bonaire Nautico, the marina in front of the It Rains Fishes Restaurant, and Karel's Beach Bar provide free dinghy tie-up for downtown locations. Use the Harbour Village Marina  for the northern areas. Dinghies are welcome at most shore side docks as well. If you tie to a hotel or dive shop dock, ask permission to ensure you're not interfering with dive boat operations.
Trash Collection: The receptacles for trash next to the Bonaire Nautico Marina are for yacht visitor use.
Fuel/Water: The fuel dock at the Harbour Village Marina provides water, gasoline or diesel from metered pumps. The closest access to water for yachts moored in the harbor is at Bonaire Nautico. The nearest stations that sell gasoline and diesel are about a 20-minute walk from the waterfront.
Laundry: The Harbour Village Marina will accept dropped off  laundry and usually returns it in 24 hours.
Speed Limits: Speed limits in the harbor, inside the moored boats, is 5 mph. Watch for divers and snorkelers.
