Don and Desirée reach for the sky

Many people first come to our yoga classes to keep their bodies fit and supple- good to look at and to live in. Or some come to find relief for their specific pains, like tensions or backaches. And there are some who are searching for a path or way of living with more awareness.
Whatever the reason, yoga can be a tool, an instrument for you- giving you what you came for and more. To understand what yoga is all about you need to experience it for yourself.
Another very important aspect is to create patience. Do not aim for results but enjoy the journey of the process that you are going through. Anyone who makes the time to practice on a regular basis becomes aware of changes in his or her approach to life.
Through toning, strengthening and relaxing the body and mind, you begin to feel an inner peace within yourself that is your true nature. This is what you can create within yourself through your dedication to a yoga practice.
I have encountered the most beautiful smiles ever in our yoga classes, the beauty that illuminates from those smiles is pure.  They are focusing on their inner selves rather than their external bodies.
Yoga gives us the experience of looking within which feels like coming home.
May your life be filled with love and laughter.
Desirée
