Dear Readers,

On behalf of our school director we want to ask you for your help for the  students of the Kolegio Kristu Bon Wardador. The fifth grade students have been studying the following projects: Slaves in the Antilles, Ostrichs and Traffic Situations. In connection with these projects we'd like to offer them a trip to Curacao. Our vision is to bring the students in contact with the reality they are learning at school and at home.
Therefore we come to you to help our students make this trip to Curacao on the 7th, 8th, 9th of May 2004 to visit the Slave Museum at Kura Hulanda, the Ostrich Farm and the Traffic Park.
Thanks you very much for your cooperation to the benefit of our young ones and also the future of Bonaire.
Signed,
The teachers of 5th grade: Arlene Engelhart, Jeane-Marie Winklaar, Carine Thielman, Head of the K.K.B.W.

Note: The students will be out collecting themselves. So if a youngster asks you to read the letter they carry and donate to this project they are collecting for we hope you will give generously. Marjolein Hayden
